ADT-NJ offers TEN Junior/Tween Essay Scholarships to eligible Member Students to attend our Winter 2025 Workshop.
The Junior/Tween Essay Scholarship is an excellent opportunity for young dancers to explore their creativity while enhancing their writing and critical thinking skills. Open to students aged 7 through 8th grade, this scholarship encourages participants to develop their abilities in grammar, neatness, and following directions. By working towards this goal, students not only gain a sense of achievement but also the chance to attend the winter workshop for free, providing valuable dance education without the cost.
Winners will also read their essays aloud at the winter workshop, allowing them to practice public speaking and build confidence in a supportive environment. This experience not only nurtures artistic talents but also prepares students for future opportunities, both on and off the stage. As a member teacher, encouraging your students to participate in this scholarship can foster personal growth and a love of learning, extending the benefits of dance education into broader life skills.
